Certificate Transfers
At PJR, we believe having the ability to easily transfer your certificate to a Certification Body (CB) that meets your needs should be your right as a business. As such, we’ve made it one of our goals as a Customer-Focused CB to ensure that your certificate transfer to PJR is as painless and straightforward as possible.
What steps are required to transfer my existing certificate?
The first step of transferring your certificate to PJR is to reach out and make contact with a representative, either via our website – pjr.com – or by calling (248) 358-3388. Your Project Manager will be your guide throughout the process, with no need to worry about contacting multiple PJR team members!
In order to transfer your certificate, PJR requires a copy of your existing accredited certificate to be transferred, copies of all audit reports since the most recent initial or recertification audit, and any associated nonconformities and corrective actions. In addition, we request a copy of scope, non-applicable requirements and a description of process interactions, as well as a list of customer complaints. There are other standard-specific documents required for some certificate transfers, which your Project Manager will be able to advise you of.

“It was a bit of an undertaking to arrange a transfer as close to our expiration date as our certification was but PJR did a fabulous job of accommodating our company. We now look forward to our audits rather than dreading them.”
